Soft Test Forms Partnership with EPI

In an effort to better meet the demands of our customers, Soft Test has partnered with Evaluation and Product Engineering, Inc. (EPE). This partnership expands our educational offerings to include the latest technology in High Speed Digital Component Test.

For the past seven years EPE has specialized in courses that focus on understanding the issues associated with High Speed and Ultra High Speed Test. Issues such as:

• DUT Board and Probe Card Considerations
• Transmission Line Considerations
• ATE Calibration Issues
• The effects of CMOS Input / Output Characteristics
• Switching Currents, Jitter and Noise
• Supply and Ground Considerations
• Practical Design and Layout Considerations for interface hardware
• And much more…

This partnership provides several benefits to our valued customers. For example:

• EPE and Soft Test together offer the largest and most technically proficient range of classes serving Test, Product and Application engineering. We now offer a one-stop shop for all of your test engineering training needs.
• Together we will pool our resources to offer new classes to the IC test industry. As a start two of our new offerings are Transmission Line Considerations for High Speed Digital Test and Design and Layout of Device Interface Boards for High Speed Test.
• Our combined instructor pool offers over 120 years of IC Design, Test and Product Engineering experience. Our instructors also consult, which enables them to remain "state-of-the-art" on the latest test issues.
• With additional well-qualified instructors the partnership will be able to offer classes when and where you need them.

Soft Test and EPE have both been recognized by customer after customer as offering top-notch, highly technical training for the Semiconductor and ATE communities.
